  • Civil Engineering Studies :
A fundamental course in Civil Engineering as an engineering discipline, a business, a professional charted and instituted enigneer in the modern world.

  • Construction Operation and Drawing :
Impart skills to produce detailed drawing of reinforced concrete and steelwork structural elements and to prepare reports covering contract administration, site organization and construction planning and method.

  • Surveying :
A course intended to acquire the topographic details with the help of chain, leveling and tachometry for the setting out construction details for trenches, structures and road alignment.

  • Mechanics of Structures & Fluids I :
A module planned to understand the behavior of forces in civil engineering structures and fluid flow problems.

  • Materials & Specifications in Construction :
Accustoms the student to construction materials like concrete, steel, timber, brick/blocks, their specification, properties and good workmanship practices in construction industries.

  • Computing Applications :
A course in basic operating systems, drafting package (Auto-CAD) and compouting skills to analyze and solve civil engineering type problems.

  • Temporary Works :
a course aimed to impart the knowledge and design the works like scaffolding, formwork, falsework, support of excavations etc. necessary for the permanent construction work.

  • Geotechnics :
A module that deals with the properties and behavior of soil and rock.

  • Construction Methods & Planning :
A course about the essential wquipment for earthworks, concrete production & transportation; planning methods using relevant computer software.

  • Mechanics of Structures and Fluids - II :
Explains the behaviour of force envelop in complicated civil engineering structures and flow phenomenon in pipe networks & open channels.

  • Design of Structural Elemts :
Deals with design of reinforced concrete and steel structural elemts like beams, columns, slabs using elementary principles and British design standards.

  • Civil Engineering Procedure and Law :
Explains the law of contract, the civil engineers responsibility, health and safety including construction design and management regulations
